Growing up in a small Midwestern town, I was shaped by my lifelong involvement in my parents’ businesses. Surrounded by their entrepreneurship, I developed diverse business skills at a young age and witnessed how local businesses are integral to communities. They reflect the heart of those who run and rely on them, possessing the unique power to mold a place’s character. With multiple generations of my family preceding me as small business owners, I bring a different perspective honed through the first-hand experience of watching my parents and grandparents build businesses that became central to my hometown. 

This perspective has been foundational in my career, so it’s no surprise that I find myself drawn to working with start-ups. In 2007, I joined a local startup that specialized in heavy equipment auctions. Over the last 16 years, my marketing efforts helped them achieve a remarkable 20% year-over-year growth while expanding their community of buyers and sellers into the hundreds of thousands across the nation. In an era of immense technological change, my entrepreneurial thinking and adaptability kept us one step ahead in finding creative ways to solve complex problems. This experience has made me committed to pushing boundaries and unlocking new possibilities for businesses.

I’m not just a marketer—I’m a fun-loving outdoor enthusiast, married to my high school sweetheart for over 25 years, and a proud parent of two wildly talented adult children. When the weekend arrives, you’ll often find me immersed in nature, camping, exploring hiking trails, cycling, releasing stress with a few rounds of kickboxing, making mosaic art, and winding down with a smoked Old Fashioned.
